Payment of all invoices is due on date issued.
James understands and will exercise his right to interest under the Late Payment Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 if payment is not received according to the agreed terms. The rate is calculated at up to 8% above the Base Rate.James reserves the right to cease all work in the event that payment is not made in accordance with the above.

Cancellation of sessions less than 24 hours in advance will incur 50% of session fees.
Cancellations less than 12 hours in advance will incur 100% of the session fees.

Overview: James understands the importance of the collecting and storing information, and he complies with both Data Protection Act 1998. James Lambdon acts as the Data Controller, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.
Information Collection and How you information is used: At the outset, basic personal information is collected for contact and identification. During sessions, assessment of targeted psychological variables (e.g., through questionnaires, observations, or discussion) will be completed, and practitioner notes will be taken throughout each session. These may include sensitive details about your life, sport, and achievement settings. Assessments and session notes are used solely for the delivery of effective service.
Electronic Data: Any electronic notes written about the work will be stored in a password protected cloud storage, and laptop, which only James Lambdon has access to.
If you have emailed James Lambdon, your email will be stored in an account that is password protected and therefore only accessible to James Lambdon. If you use the contact message form on www.jlpsych.co.uk, this information will be sent to the same email address. James Lambdon will delete any email correspondence for clients with whom he is not actively working.
James Lambdon will not share any information about you with third parties without your consent, with the exception of ‘sharing of data’ section in this privacy policy.YOUR RIGHTS: You have rights relating to the information James Lambdon holds to verify the accuracy or to ask for them to be supplemented, deleted, updated or corrected. You have the right to request a copy of the information that James Lambdon holds about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email James via the contact details stated in the therapy agreement. Information will be provided to you within 30 days if this is appropriate. You may ask James to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. You have a right to request the transfer of your data to another individual or company. If you are concerned about how James Lambdon is handling your data, please contact him directly if possible. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s office (ICO): https://ico.org.uk/. Please note that James Lambdon operates under the jurisdiction system of the United Kingdom.
HOW LONG IS YOUR INFORMATION KEPT FOR: Your information is kept for the time necessary to provide the therapy service requested. James Lambdon will retain your details and session notes electronically for a period of 7 years following the end of treatment to comply with legal obligations set by James Lambdon's insurers. In the case of a children and young people, records will be kept for 7 years after they reach the age of 18. After this date, all data will be securely deleted.
SHARING OF DATA AND RISK ISSUES: Psychological support being offered by James Lambdon is strictly confidential, adhering to the British Psychological Society (BPS) Code of Conduct and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Standards of Proficiency. You information will not be discussed with a third party without expressed consent. However, there are circumstances which place a limit on confidentiality, which are:
1. Where there is sufficient evidence for the practitioner to have concern about safety, or a threat to the safety of another person, the psychologist may inform appropriate third parties without consent. Where possible, the James will inform me of any action taken.
2. To quality assure service delivery being offered, your information (but not your identity) may, as necessary, be reviewed by a supervisor, another sport psychologist, and/or a supervision group.SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATON
Information will be kept securely and confidentially in line with the data retention policy as stated above.
LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR INFORMATION
The lawful basis for James Lambdon holding and using your information is in relation to the delivery of a contract to you by a health care professional. As an accredited member of The Health and Care Professions Council, James Lambdon operates under a strict code of confidentiality and is legally obliged to lawfully process your data in line with this privacy policy.
